I attended The Style Show in Clontarf as a customer and was so impressed with the day that I immediately thought that it would be a fantastic platform and showcase for my business. I am an independent consultant for Captain Tortue - a French ladies and children’s wear direct selling company that has only been in Ireland for the last couple of years. I felt that this would be a great opportunity for the company to raise its profile and brand awareness, with the backing of the head office we decided to take a stand and also be part of the fashion show at the Style Show in Druids Glen. From the outset everything was handled in a very professional manner, and this was very evident throughout the whole Style Show experience, from the people who ran everything behind the scenes to Brendan, Derrick and Noel who were a wealth of knowledge and great entertainment for the ladies in attendance. The day it self was a huge success. There is nothing like having the clothes modelled by professional models in a proper catwalk / fashion show environment. We had a fantastic response from the ladies who attended that day and definitely achieved our goal in terms of raising our profile and managed to secure quite a few sales into the bargain. Divine had a very successful day at the Style Show last weekend. It was very endearing to see so much style. We were delighted with the reaction from our pieces on the fashion show, with a sell out of a couple of different styles! The lady who won ‘Best Dressed’ was also dressed head to toe in Divine. I would like to extend my thanks for the opportunity to be part of Style Show Irelands debut event. The Castleknock hotel was a wonderful venue and the day was a huge success. The professionalism of the organisers and the enthuasism of those who attended made it a day to remember. Brendan Courtney was ever the gentleman and amazing host.
